I first heard this CD of Luis Miguel’s music while sitting in a Mexican restaurant waiting for some food to go. The first thing I said to the server was, “Who is that?”. I immediately went out and bought this CD and this purchase is about my 6th copy. I love to give it as a gift and everyone loves it as much as I do. My husband and I both love to listen to him while sitting on our deck in the summer; perfect background music for unwinding and relaxing. It is not your typical Spanish music as he is surrounded only by a beautiful symphony orchestra. I love to listen to it in the car (very calming), at home (while reading) or on my ipod (while lounging around). It has very beautiful soothing sounds and I just love it as you can probably tell. It is so romantic and great slow dance music too. I did not realize what a huge international star he is when I bought it, I didn’t even know who he was and didn’t care. I don’t speak fluent Spanish either but it doesn’t matter-beautiful music is beautiful music in any language. I’m hooked on this CD even after listening to it for years! Romance Segunda, the follow up, is great too but this one is just a classic.
